    Shawn Herrmann's HZ Sandman Panama Van

    I met this guy today at All GM day in perth.
    took some pics.
    he has original motor and original front apron still (pic below)
    Adelaide build GVM 1950 kg,.
    11/77 L32, M20 with 18V trim, which i thought 18V was interesting for Panama..

    HX Mandarin Red Sandman Ute finished, and club registered

    So are the cut outs in the apron put there by the factory to suit the spoiler? GTS and Sandman only part?

    Yes sure are. My HZ Sandman ute and HZ GTS both have the original cutouts.

    yeah its a good indicator of an un - prangged van.
    adds credability to originality.

    anyone have the measurements for them?

    My car

    hi all,
    This is my HZ Sandman built in november 1977 at Adelaide, The buck skin head lining at home. Taken it off for resto work.
    Sold to ??? 1977-1989 then to bruce in 1989-2000 from Albany
    To Rick in 2000-2002 from Albany (He did the resto work)
    To james 2002-2004 from Bunbury and finally me 2004-present from Bunbury.

    If you want to have a look it will be in Bridgetown this Saturday for there show,
    Busselton motorfest this sunday so i might see you there.
