The Sandman Search

I'm interested to hear what methods others use to search for Sandman utes and vans.

I've used the most common methods like ebay, carsales, trading post & local newspapers. Do you have other places that you look?

There does seem to be a lot that have been repainted & lost decals over the years. Do you have things that you look out for in ads to indicate a potential Sandman? I tend to look at the obvious things like mirrors, dash, interior, exterior colour - but as most people don't post pics of the plates do you end up sending heaps of messages asking for them?

get my attention, then it's a matter of corresponding with the seller until you get all the info to confirm yes, no or maybe.

Questions and messages I suppose. I keep an eye on the Land clearing sales section hoping that illusive one will turn up. Hasnt yet.
