    Windscreen trim mounting pins

What is a good way to put the trim mounting pins on the rare spares replacement cowls? I need to put two back on but dont want to drill holes if I can avoid it.

Get a panel beater to put them on. They uses similar weld on tabs for their panel pulling equipment (to pull dents out).

If you do decide to drill holes, prime the holes after drilling and use the pins supplied by places such as rare spares, and not ordinary pop rivets. If you are worried about water getting under the pin, you could always use a dab of proper body sealer. 3M make a good one. Don't ever use normal silicon to seal up your windscreen, as most silicons are acidic and will cause rust. The holden range from HQ to WB were a good design as far as windcreen installations are concerned, as long as you keep the crap from behind the trims with a good blast of water when washing.
