    Dumb questions????

As much as I believe there are no such thing as dumb questions this one is mighty close...... I listed these HQ seats on Ebay and the first question I get is "Do they tilt foward for a 2 door car" ....... Really.... just because I state they are correct for a Monaro do people automatically think 2 door...

I thought I was clear in stating they were correct for Sandman, Belmont and Kingswood also so would not be the tilt forward type..... maybe I should have stated 4 door Monaro although the winding handles can clearly be seen in the pictures.... if they were the tilt foward type I would have stated this as I did for the other seats I have listed.....

Don't people look at the pretty pictures???????

Change the description to ..... and Kingswoood including GTS 4 door.

And state stupid/dumb question will be ignored.

The question I hate the most is "do you have a buy it now price?". I am always so tempted to write back "Can't you f$%^ing read? Is it on the screen?"

I made the mistake once of listing a few items, and I put a "buy it now price" on the auction, and put words in there saying i'd put on a buy it now price for those that just had to have it now. Problem is once someone bids, buy it now dissapears. You would not believe how many indignant, arrogant f^%&wits were DEMANDING that the auction be cancelled because they couldn't BUY IT NOW. This was for a set of 8 x 80 series Landcruiser rims. I cracked the $h&ts with that one, and sent them to the scrap metal yard, and posted as much up on the auction when I cancelled it (I actually gave them away to someone, but just wanted to make the idiots on Ebay think i'd scrapped them!).

I reckon it never hurts to ask as some people don't know what they have and advertise incorrectly.

If you wrote back saying yes he would be on to a bargain.

I had a BDP (Brain dead prawn) offer me $22,000.00 for my Model A tourer hot rod that I'd posted on ebay for an unreserved price of $36,000.00. After several emails rejecting his underwhelming offer he informed me that he'd put a curse on me and told me I was gunna burn in hell and my soul would be forever sacrificed to the overlords of eternal damnation.
I replied telling him he really truly shouldn't have stopped taking his medication. :knockout::lol::lol::lol:

That is true Ian but my pictures clearly show they are not the tilt forward type. Fair enough if the pics were poor or blurry but they're not.....

I've now had another 3 emails asking if I have a buy now price.... frigging tools.. if I did I would have listed it with buy now.... I might have considered it if they actually made an offer....

Although some Turd stiffed me out of a Nos GTS fascia by making an offer.... it's a bit unfair to the other potential bidders.

You can't blame the buyer though! It is the seller who is really not being fair. But having seen so many idiots bidding and not paying, if you have a sensible offer and you are happy with the $ why not sell? Especially if it is from someone you know! I suppose that is what the "make and offer" tab is for though.
