I have a 67 Chev Impala of which I'm the 3rd owner since new.....and I know the other 2 owners. I stripped it down for a quick resto in July 2008 and it was registered (for the first time since 2001) in December 2008. I built a the 350 for it but had the trans guy do the reco Powerglide along with a whole bunch of other new stuff. I took a few weeks off work and went to work on it at my mates shop (same guy who did my van). All the rust, (well bugger all really) was cut out and new "everything" put back in except the interior trim which will be done next winter. There is also a pic of my 34 Ford roadster pick up.

The 350 was a full reco to suit lpg and I had a set of rollers that had been sitting in the cupboard for about 10 years so I chucked them on as well.
I bought this in St Louis in 2007 and it's great fun to drive....I mean really...you have to have something to do the shopping in....right? It's supposed to be 1 of only 346 ever made...but thats a long story
