    hx sandman

    Hi everyone this is our HX sandman we purchased in melb 18 months ago.
    i need to restore it before the next Bay to Birdwood car run in adel next year.
    i have collected enough parts bumperetes,front clip to replace HX statesman front
    which will be up for sale soon if anyone is interested. have attached numbers and pictures for comment.

    It also has one of 2 x twin fronts that in my opinion look good ie HJ Statesman. The other is with a HJ GTS grille. I'm not a fan of HX or HZ grilles, although the HZ Sandman probably has the nicest twin nose of any HX/HZ.

    why don't you paint both nosecones and rad supports + a few extra nuts and bolts and hang the single up up in the shed?

    nice colour, not sure if there is a pick of a good one in that colour anywhere?

    Is it actually royal plum? I had an LX hatch in royal plum and it looked nothing like that?

    I also just noticed the 3.08:1 diff. Very uncommon behind 253 4spd in HX, normally they are 3.55:1.

    found royal plum metalic i think DX5 would possibly be the decal to match when painted .Colour at moment looks like a 90s ford colour.
