i picked up this 1974 HQ ute for $600!.. its from inland NEWMAN in the Pilbara and fairly rust free. was going to the crusher!!!!!
its just a roughy to tinker with, currently has a fully reco 202 red, electoronic ignition, and 3 sp speco floor shift, 3.36 diff Banjo.
Going to run with the sunbaked flat black and paint on the HQ sandman decals with white paint.!
Have a big set of Satin centrelines to go on it and a side pipe on the drivers side with lowering blocks.
mates are askin when the chev is going in, but i think i will go HQ racer spec 202 with the reco motor in it now. (cam change + i have a YT head here).
i will put a pic up tommorrow. Its good for a larf!!..
oh, yeah, its called the "RATMAN".
