    It’s certainly a unique archway.

Currently stuck on $79k with two and a bit days to go. I'm guessing they'd be chasing $120k plus. Remember the buyer still has 7.5% premium to add on.

I do wonder with these "restomods" whether it being a genuine Sandman really adds the $$$ it does with standard builds?

I'd say no, it doesn't for me at least. Seems pointless to build a genuine Sandman today as a restomod. You would just be throwing money away. Those done way back, well that's just what happened. Hard to begrudge people of what they want their build to be though. That said, I'm doing some mods to mine - so there you go!

Sold for $120k (Plus $9k buyers premium)

Interesting watch of sorts. It sat on $79k for days then in the last hours went to 80, crept to 90, sat again for a while then back and forth small increments till someone went from 101 to 110 in the last 15 mins and bang on the market, so reserve was more than at least 101 Then down to literally minutes and 112.5, reset 2 mins, 115 reset 2 mins then all over at $120......"It's only numbers on a page" (bank statement) as a builder mate tells me

My mate's boss bid on 2 cars (can't remember if it was this auction house or another QLD one) last year and on both occasions he was the under bidder, pushed him to his limit. Strangely both time the figure achieved was almost exactly what they asked for pre-auction and he got a call on both afterwards to say the winner defaulted, we will offer to you for your highest bid. Dodgy?
