I believe this van is pretty well known and recently for sale or sold?

Personally, I like the before pics better.
The way it looks now, (to me) is too much money spent, & asked for, especially for a 6, which takes it away from anyone buying & enjoying it for what it was designed for.
That's just my opinion, & yes it does look good!
I still would have restored it but put the 6 aside and replace with a 5 litre and 5 speed box
Much more enjoyable to drive
But each to their own
It's a nice job and looks tidy. But HX, 6cyl, Chamois colour. bit hard to get excited about.
Side glass removal was a good move and looks to have been done well. Don't like the aftermarket Sandman horn cap badge at all.
Money spent on a low end Sandman is a whole other issue. Still nice to look at and ponder...
Selling HJ 253 Engine

I can see why it was restored, whilst it was largely reasonable, the left side needed work and fill windows a further plus.
Looks a good restoration job, I didn't think I'd ever say this but I really like the chamois with the blackouts and stripes.
