    Acacia Ridge ID stuff-ups

A lot of us would of heard of Brisbane's GMH plant miss stamping ID tags.
I have seen this ute a couple of times, & was amazed at the chassis number mess up. Resized_20210711_220416.jpegResized_20210612_092121.jpeg
The tag has prefix of "ATC"
I presume as in gemini, where the chassis is stamped "AHZ" & Then the rest of the numbers are the same on both.

Anyone seen any similar ID stuff-ups?

There are also proved Brisbane Sandman's with no XX7 stampings.
All human error. It happens, but it's has got to have an effect on investment/re-sale/collector values.

    It's all very interesting though.

I have one of these in my garage...a one of a kind, super rare WB Sandman, which has been mistakenly ID'd as a plain commercial van...

    Gee, that's just bad luck!
Was it a rarer than most 3 seater?

Haha, yeah maybe. It was a factory V8 so a little bit rarer than the ubiquitous 202 column shifts...

Yeah there will be something coming soon. Project got very lost under work and travel, but 2020 saw us move house (bigger garage) and with one of the forum members kicking my arse, I've recently piled back into the van.
