There is enough to suggest it could be.

253, 4 Speed, 2 seater in Brown trim, 9/74 build in Glacier White, Belmont.
Nothing in that says it isn't.

HHS Certificate would prove it if the record exists.

I believe 39 is chestnut and the B means buckets. Bench was A. This was for Belmont, doesn't apply to kingswood had different letters.

30B is Black, 39B is Brown (not chestnut although probably the same, Holden though named 39B as Brown every other 39 suffix A to Y excluding B as Chestnut) and 34B is Blue (34B never a Sandman colour). You could have a Sandman with 39E Chestnut, 30E is Black as bucket seats. The "E" ending suffix seems to belong to Kingswood based Sandman Utes.

Anyway the "B" could be for Belmont, Buckets or Black, Blue, Brown or none of those mentioned just simply a suffix identifier. But thinking Buckets when read the B suffix is a pretty good sign and makes it easy to remember.
What is 100% is that all HQ Sandman trim will start with "30 or 39"
