    Rotor button and DizzY

I went to buy 3 new distributor caps and 3 new rotor buttons today to suit the HEI type distributors with the small cap conversion.
I went to Bursons, Supercheap, Repco and AutoBarn all said they are no longer available. As well as the large original type being discontinued.
    Has anyone else experienced this?
    Thanks.

From memory the small cap is a standard FORD 302 HEI cap from a XD Falcon.
I wouldn't think they would be discontinued. Both Holden and Ford used Bosch HEI but Ford used and standard smaller cap.
Like I said it's from memory but I'm pretty sure that's how it went down.

Yeah i ran into this last year. I swapped my intake manifold for an Edelbrock performer unit and the new Vacuum tree location fouled on the large HEI cap. After research i went and looked for the XD falcon cap and it took many shops to find one as well as the rotor. Ended up getting a cap from Speed Parts in Hallam (obsolete stock still on hand) and the matching rotor from over in Bayswater (Vic) somewhere.

I did the exercise again today. Bosch have discontinued the GB786 rotor button. GB926 Dizzy cap is still available via instore purchase only. They appear to have been discontinued as well.
I did the ring around the whole of Queensland. I located one in Brisbane outer suburbs. If anyone has two more they'd part with I'm happy to pay a fair price for them.
I only want to get touched not felt all over.
