She sounded good burbling around the show ground amongst the shiny stuff! It's a pretty good thing and would come up a treat restored. "Glitter Poo" and all. Byron and Ozbox were all over it.

the colour seems to be a faded persian sand mk2 (not a bad colour ) and the aftermarket nose cone is just wrong

Yeah I agree. Persian sand is a great colour. Probably one of the better colours. Especially as every Sandman is either red or yellow or blue. Only so many that catch your eye and the common colours certainly don’t anymore.

Im still not sold on the original colour, but not sure about changing it.

This is the 45 year old paint inside the cab, above the windscreen, been protected by the roof lining. It still looks very lively

I had a taiwsense tailgate I got cheap, so I had it sprayed, mixed by the paint code, & it looks quite dull. I was never going to fit this, only hang in the shed!

Would really like to see how good the colour can look, to help me decide

I use to own a Persian Sand SLR Torana back in the day never liked the colour but it was a perfect rust free body prob would have changed it but i did a white to black paint job on another LX 4 door Torana i owned
Change it i say so many great colours to choose from
