Yes Valencia you would be spot on with the location, i was flatting in Subiaco at the time.
Just thought I'd throw this in.
My first job in Oz was in the British Leyland factory in Sydney, assembling and welding P76 B pillar's, yes very boring work.
In the same building there were about a dozen P76 Force 7 coupe bodies under development, they were laying out electrical loom work at that time.
I was told look, but no cameras allowed.
Too long ago for me to be certain, but it was the main manufacturing plant, and the location would have been about right for me.
They really did look a step ahead, even for my young eyes.
Given a bit more time, they might have given Ford and Holden some
thing to be concerned about.
Actually the main plant may have still been at Zetland at the time (just south of Sydney cbd) near the SCG sort of
