    Please see today's finding below.

    1. So I manage to free up the winch and drop the wheel, please below pics front and back, looks like an old commodore rim from a VB SLE.
    2. Attached is the tyre place card from inside the glove box if this sheds anymore light.
    3. Chassis number is matching.
    4. In regards to the ZT engine number is it possible to match this to the car, my research tells me that the year/era matches late model HZ.

    Thanks and Enjoy
The spare wheel is the N67 14" factory Sandman Alloy that would have been supplied on the car. As I said the winch cup is correct for the wheel and was the supplied Sandman wheel at that date.
The engine has a time stamp just behind/above the timing case cover on the engine block (just in from of the intake manifold) there will be a date code and a clock face with an arrow. Typically the engine date will be within a couple months before the car build date, sometimes within weeks.
The code should be 2 numbers 1 letter and 1 number. First two number the day of the month, the letter the month and the last number being the last number of the year built. (the letter "I" is skipped when working months).

    Sample: 12B9 would be 12 day of (2nd month) B=February 1979

    Cool.
I will check it out today and revert back.
I'm pretty sure the A/C pump is mounted directly in front, it might have to be removed to view the number.

    Chat soon.

Anyone who bought it new and optioned N47 wheels. I have seen a few WB utes with them fitted. Definitely not definite proof of a Sandman but a good indication for sure.
