I agree.
A large percentage of the "projects" purchased in recent years, (at a substantial cost) will probably never see completion with their current owner.

Has anyone spoke to this seller, & found out if he has owned this van for years, or bought it, then worked out it was too much work for him?

With values (Holden generally not just Sandman) the one thing I am seeing is guys spending the money professionally too, some cars if done well (original or tasteful custom) are worth the spend or at least no worst off that depreciation on a new car straight out of the showroom
