I did this a while ago for another GMH site, hopefully the links are all still ok

4G LTE Vehicle Car GPS GSM GPRS Tracker MT600

Buy one of these. Make sure it it the MT600-AU version. The MT500 is the old 3G version and wont work on Australian network. The MT600 is the 4G model and the "AU" is for the Australian network frequencies. This is very good value for money and the cheapest 4G tracker you will find.

    Straight from Mictrack site
    https://www.mictrack.com/shop/4g-gps-tracker-mt600/

Get a prepaid sim card. I use the Aldimobile prepaid 365plus version as it has a 1 year expiry. $15 is fine.

    https://www.aldimobile.com.au/plans/payg/

Create a free account on the Ruhavik GPS Trace website. and download the free app and install on your mobile

    https://m.gps-trace.com/

Install and setup the GPS tracker as per this video

    https://www.mictrack.com/support/video-tutorial/

Download and read this manual on the MT600,

You may not need all the commands eg tow alert etc but thats up to you.
You set up via sending SMS commands to the tracker then using the GPS Trace you can watch location in real time via web browser or on your phone.
