    My WB Project

After being a long time lurker on the forum I finally have a reason to post. Last week I finally made the plunge and picked up a rolling WB van. My plans are to repair the rust, fill in the side windows, HZ twin headlight front end and painted in Caribbean Turquise. I think I will go the LS1 auto path with a few creature comforts. Thats the plan at this stage anyhow.
    cheers Brett

A bit of work ahead, well worth the effort.
    Looking forward to the progress.

Yes Gene been a lurker on here for years as I had a nice HJ Sandman back in the day. The only forums I seem to frequent are Torana (daily) MySandman and the Ausie V8 ones. Majestic Vanners I find is a good read as well.

Had a great score last weekend. went to look at twin headlight nose cone and he also had a new old stock radiator support panel and perfect unmarked guards, trims, grill, lights the lot. Happy Happy.

Made a start on the side window panels last couple of days. Cut out the shape + 20mm on the zincaneal sheet and rolled a step bead in the panel. then made up some internal braces out of 1.5mm Rondo top hat section. Still a bit more shaping to do to get the curve correct but I am reasonably pleased so far.
