About $40000. Utes won’t pull van money no matter what they were bought new with.

Id say 30 to 50k Totally depending if matching number build. Date coded everything. etc etc. You can do a high end build and it will get the 35 maybe 40. Pull out all the strings and it will be a 50k ute. BUT to do this will cost you more than 50k

Agreed with above. Utes just dont pull van money.

OK, I would've thought this ute would bring more.
But have nothing to base that assumption on, & bow to your observation

Its the same old story if someone really wants that car being a Ute or Van they will pay the asking price
if its only worth 40K not worth the effort to restore to its former glory
    just my uneducated opinion

You don’t need to bow to my opinion.
Utes are definitely on the increase in value, I follow a old B&S Ute page and a WB Kingswood page on Facebook. They are both really generating heaps of interest and everyone is now chasing a Ute to re-live their youth.
However, WB Kingswood was king in this era and no one is going to pay double the price for a Sandman Ute (well I would but there isn’t too many others).
So I guess if you find someone who is cashed up and really wants a Sandman Ute you might get more, but in reality I think that even Vans are going to have a major price check soon.

I’m with you Valencia, if it’s only worth $40 after spending on paint and panel and al the other goodies, it will stay in storage! Or part it out I’d get good coin! As sandman owners I would think we all hope there isn’t a check on prices!
