Thread: Sold!

    Sold!

It is with sadness that I say that I have sold our Van.
It was on trademe(New Zealand) for one and a half hours and someone made an off which I accepted and a deposit was made.
Time for someone else to be a guardian of this fine vehicle.
I cannot believe that I have done this but I feel it is time to move her on.
And I certainly know that I will not be getting another.
I will still be lurking in the background and watching these great things with interest.
Thanks for the ride guys it’s been a blast.
    Keep on Vanning!🤟

    Cheers I used to be

Sorry to hear, but obviously the right decision for you Kiwi. Always enjoy your input and knowing your van got used, which is what it is all about for me. I'm sure the lucky new owner will enjoy it too.

    Soo true!
Has been a blast and the memories as you say will live on forever.
Still a true enthusiast just without the van.

    Cheers Kiwivan

It will be a sad day when you watch it drive away, but yes the memories will stay with you.

Bugger kiwivan that was a quick sale. It must have been like going cold turkey.

I miss my van already, so used to walking past in the shed and now there is nothing to walk around and admire in that empty space. The only plus is a bit more room in the shed.

Yes, condolences Kiwivan! I've also sold a couple of Sandmans and retain both the great memories, and peripheral regret. Hope you get another passion project in the not too distant future.

    Cheers

Agree it will be a sad day when it goes.
The new owners have arranged to pick up.
It’s still in the garage and it doesn’t seem real.
But I still feel the time is right so it must be the right decision.

    Cheers Kiwi
