Looks Sandman to me!
I would be be photographing every little bit of this car. (it's only original once!)
Showing all the details you can (as trivial as you might think) it's all a reference on the month/year and plant it was built in.
I wonder where the delivery papers and owners manuals are?

If you know for sure that hasn’t been repainted then those blackouts around the doors mean it’s likely a Sandman. It’s more than likely a DL7 delete stripe car. Do you have the books for it?
That ute is worth restoring regardless. You really need to get it out from under the tarp and into a shed. That’s going to do more damage to it.

With that steering wheel i would 100% say its a Sandman
put my house on it
Ditto, yes it's a sandman. I will put Valencias house on it!
There you go. So you would reckon that if the original wiring was there for the twin light front that would be another good indication.
You can see some black under the green paint on the door handles still. Obviously it’s had some paint put on it at some stage. It’s a shame you can’t get some better history on it.
You need to check to see if both door handles have black paint on them, no chrome. A dealer or someone else may have put the twin headlights on it but unlikely to have bothered changing the door handles as well.

You can be pretty confident to say its a sandman from the ID info and those photos put together. Anyone in the family have old family photos from the 70s that may include the car even in the background?? That would be gold.
