HJ could be Kingswood (in a ute) although less likely being a late build. You'd need to get a report from holden historic services to know for sure. Might be the best 90 bucks you spend

Yes, as Sandaro states the HJ Ute was available as a (base) Holden Sandman or a Kingswood Sandman. http://holdenhistoricalservices.com.au is where you should be heading.

Wondering how original it is ..
Does it have the black outs..what guards
What tyre placard is in the glove box..
Is all the interior there that a sandman would have.
It sounds like it's a very desirable combination though ...
Even if it does not get the lollipop happy day's.

Thank you all! As in regards to the interior, it isn't too original unfortunately, Bench seat, stock Kingswood Dash, No signs of the previous sports fruits. I'll get the tyre placard details before the end of the day hopefully. Don't know if they'd be correct however, as it seems the dash has been changed, if they changed the glovebox with that, I don't know.
I won't mind too much if it isn't a sandman, I mean, it's still (Supposed to be) a tricked out Kingy. Thanks Wombat, Sandaro, Innuendo and pj.

    Cheers

Maybe check that the chassis matches the tags as well..
And that the tags haven't been removed .
Being a bench seat and all the goodies being removed it's got my alarm bells ringing
you should be able to see if the console mounts show signs of being removed ... Is it still a floor shift or coloum change

I Think someone's just done an interior swap, some spots from where brackets have been taken off etc. for the console.
Thinking I'll dig up some GTS kit for it even if it is just a kingy. Currently is a floor shift trimatic via a B&M

Which dash has it actually got in it? Is it the HJ strip speedo?
