    Instrument Gauges Earth wire

I have a random black earth wire sandwiched to the gauges retaining screw. Its only short but I cannot remember where it connects. It has a round screw type connector. Can anyone help?

Yes one end is sandwiched between the frame and the plastic gauge surround. Just wondering where the other end goes, it is the last thing to figure out for me to install my instruments.

Just had my dash apart and seem to recall the earthing wires from the instrument cluster wiring harnesses have round crimped brass eyelets.
Fairly certain there were 3 earthing wires and the frame mounting screw just above the tacho was used to secure the earthing wires

Thanks, I dropped in to Otto instruments here in Brisbane (they did the refurb for me) and he said it was a double up/back up earth wire of the gauge cluster, to screw it of with the frame.
