    Yes, the slot for the depress is in the upper honey pot positioned near where you would visualise the barrel is internally. Sometimes there is still a very thin layer of die cast if it has never been removed before. Just push the flat blade through it.

    Innuendo you were spot on. I got the nice shiny barrel out and what a heap of crap it is. I compared it with a genuine barrel, it's tight and built like a tank. I'm sure the other was a knock of. Anyway the geniune stainless steel replacement fits like a glove. I appreciate your help.

    [If you have a 4 digit code on a genuine barrel I can factory punch cut a genuine GM key for your barrel.[/QUOTE]

    Innuendo I only have one genuine key, would it be possible to organise with you to have a couple of spares cut?
