I believe there are small changes that expert on the models could tell each model apart even in bare shell.

Obvious external change for wb is lack of rear side blinkers that earlier ones had. Up to about mid 74 hq had side vents behind doors and hq had a different cowl. Hj has different firewall to hx. These are just some, I'm sure there's others that might not want to be public knowledge for the body swappers

Does the WB have more metric threads than HQ-HZ? A vague feeling is telling me the bolts for the guards are metric and they differ from earlier. Am I wrong?

Yes WB has some metric bolts. They also have different bolt spacing for the seat mounts. Different windscreen washers in the cowel panel instead of the plenum vent. WB Kingswood has big holes right up the side to mount the mouldings that earlier series didn’t.

I always thought that was why it wasn't made public. I know there was plenty of chat on the facebook page today around a few vans on gumtree that look like they've had WB shells.

WB V8 Has the same pivot point as all HX's, WB 6cyl has a pivot point 1 inch (25.4 mm) higher.

Found out that the wb has two pivot points on the clutch as hq-hz only have one
