    Hj Sandman

    Hi Guys,

New to site, Bit of a how long is a peice of string question but I’ve just gone to look at a Hj sandman and trying to determine a ball park price.

I’m 99% sure it’s a genuine sand man, XX7, 2 seat, 2200kg on mod plate, 4 speed, 10 bolt, gts dash, centre console, saw tooth metal above tail gate for hoodlining, GTS guards etc.

It’s been a country car and been dry stored for the last 10 years. She has no rust in the roof or floor pan what so ever, slight bit of rust in tail gate and corners of the cowl near windscreen are rooted. Complete set of glass (side windows have been removed)

Not original motor, seat, missing head lining and Gts rims.

I know pictures would help but I’m Not sure how to upload.

Just looking for a bit of advice of maybe what to offer, they guy is not oblivious of its worth but can see the work required to get it back on the road and doesn’t have the time to do anything with it.

    Any help would be appreciated

You need to post the tags to help all three and chassis number
Also you can go to Holden historical services for $90

    Yes sounding good ...
    Same old story ...
There has been a lot of modifications done over the years to them (sandman) car's ...
But at the end of the day if the tags match the chassis you have already said the motor doesn't match ...Original paint ?
find out all the tag information

Yes tags match the chassis, none original paint but there are signs of the original colour in places. Any tips on how to post photos! Hahaha,
