    I'm not a HQ expert, but I've seen that style seat belt as referenced as being correct for HQ Sandman before.

    My HQ Sandman ute has that seat belt type fitted. I think I recall them being referred to as HQ Statesman style on here somewhere but don’t quote me on that. Cheers.

    Which plant was your sandy built in ,from what ive seen and peeps ive chatted with say the black sandy buckles were a brissy and sydney plant thing

    Well my ute would fit with that theory - it was built in Brisbane.

    Looks so much better in it's correct colour. Also shows it's been quite a bit of work.
    Paint does look a little flat. Clear coat still to go on?
