    What spoiler to buy...

    Hi Guys,

I have a WB panel van that looks like a HZ(?) front has been grafted in place of the original.
    front edit.jpg

I have a few questions of the more knowledgeable on here:
    1. Is this a HZ front?
    2. If so, would the person who grafted it on, used the whole front (including lower panel)?

The reason I'm asking, is that apparently the WB is different to the HZ, thus the front spoiler for a HZ wont fit a WB and you need to buy a special WB one.
I'm assuming the fit of the spoiler is all about the lower panel (under the bumper), thus I need to know if it's a HZ or WB.

Trying to work out if I need to buy the HZ or WB front spoiler.

    Thanks in advance

That is a quad light HJ to HZ nose. You haven't provided a side shot so I can't see what guards are fitted.
On a WB the lower panel under the bumper (Valance/Stone Tray) is two piece and bolts onto the front guards horizontal. Where as the HZ nose is all one piece.
Spoiler's are quite different for the HZ and WB.

From the photo it's looks like you need a HZ spoiler.

This is the one you would want being HZ

Yes the front of the wb guards are shorter and the hj to hz are a fuller complete guard .... it would have been a lot of work to graft a hj to hz premier nose cone to wb guards under bumper panel ...so just guessing it's a hj to hz complete front.

It’s pretty easy to do. Use a Hj/z rad support and simply trim the bottom of the nose cone of behind the bumper and make a couple of reinforcement tabs. We did one for a mates WB Ute. Looks really neat with the WB lower balance panel under there.

HZ Statesman. I doubt you would even get a WB spoiler anyway. The radiator support is different for HZ to WB so I really doubt it would have WB lower valance.
Actually I think it’s a HJ Statesman front. It’s Statesman though.
