    Fibreglass bonnet

    Can anyone give me some feedback regarding fibreglass bonets?

    I would stick to metal bonnets. Fiberglass doesn't hold its shape all that well over time. They really aren't that much lighter if they have been made rigid to stop them from cracking and warping. Have a look at the C2,C3 corvettes, more often than not you will find they have heaps of ripples, whoop to doo's and paint crack which generally indicates movement in the fiberglass underneath.

    Yes I'm skeptical. I'm just struggling to find a good bonnet in the Brisbane area.

    if you want to look further afield, I sent a bonnet from Newcastle to Gold Coast through "E-Go".
    it was under $80.00.
