Fuel Tanbk Issues

Hi All,

My WB ute has an issue when I pump fuel into it, it spurts back at me. The only way to fil the tank is to trickle it in.

I have taken the filler neck out and it is clear of obstructions (other than the spring in there to prevent stuff getting into the tank).

Any thoughts on what could cause this ?

Some car's do that from my experience just don't pull the trigger all the way .

Maybe check that the vent pipe is not blocked. I reckon that might give you some grief as the tank fills. Pic attached, see parts 15, 16 and 17

Only put the fuel nozzle half way in, not up to the hilt near the handle so it is resting against the filler tube (where the cap goes).
Lets the air in for a free-er flow.
