I'm setting a HJ ute as a V8 floor shift manual that was a 6 cyl 3 on the tree. It has been in an accident at some stage & has had the fire wall forward replaced, with what looks like late HZ/WB parts, it has a round wiring loom plug hole not a rectangle hole like the HQ/HJ.
The transmission tunnel has a hole that looks like it's been chewed out. I need a measurement from the raised rib forward to the rear of the hole as well as the hole dimensions, please.
I'm fitting a HZ/WB cable clutch setup & I've found that the V8 pedal is different to the 6 cylinder, the pivot is further from the hook if memory serves me correctly. does the V8 pedal use the same pivot hole under the dash, as there is 2 holes(2nd hole maybe for earlier clutch set ups?), I don't have a V8 pedal to check, I'll alter the 6 cylinder pedal that I have.
