    Thumbs up Identifying Dash

    Hi Guys,

    hoping somoene can help.

    Just purchased a Replica Sandman.

Just need some help identifying what I have lol

I'm led to believe the Dash is a HZ out of a 253 V8 one tonner.
Would love it if someone could confirm.

There's a few issues with it at the moment, which hopefully you guys can help later on as well ;)

HZ gts dash if it has yellow needles unless it was ordered from factory with that dash in the 1 tonner which I doubt someone has put it in

Thanks for the reply...there's a lot of bits not working on the dash.

At least now I can be asking questions about the HZ GTS dash ;)

    Like:
The volt meter seems to work just fine
But when I turn on the headlights, the red light in the gauge does illuminate - sometimes dull, sometimes brighter, depending if I have headlights or just parkers on.
The Alternator is putting out the correct voltage..

    Any idea why this happens?

    Thanks again

Not to split hairs, but WB had the same dash as well. Regardless, it’s as Valencia said.
Not sure about the light? If the motor is running, that light should be off, if the alternator is charging.

Looks like originally out of a HZ sedan (or passenger vehicle), as it has demister switch

Rear demister was optional in both Ute/Tonner and Van. But more likely in a sedan.
