Whale Tail

OK, Mrs wbute hates the idea but I like it.

Does anyone know if a whale tail could be attached to a hard lid to go on the back of a ute? My reason being that I could take the lid off and go back to standard easily if I got sick of it.
I am talking about one of those tails that is about the same height as the roof. Also do they ever come up for sale?

the bob jane tmart whale tails...i reckon that would look good myself..attaching it is just gunna be some bolts and fibreglassing..shouldnt be too hard for a man of your skills..

I remember those from back in my day...79...80...81...,I was going to fit one. I thought they looked great if your ute had the right look,something else I ran out of time to do.
