Thread: How to?

    How to?

Going to replace fibreglass front spoiler with a plastic one I have purchased.
The one I brought does not have the wrap around into the front guard.
Now how does one prep the plastic for painting.
And how does one attach it to the van.
My fibreglass one was screwed on in several places, should this one be bonded on or screwed?

Not sure about fixing it to the front panel, but make sure you rub it back with 180/240 paper till there is no shine on the gel coat and spray it with 2 pack Hi-fill primer then just top coat it.

Sorry should have used the word gloss level instead of gel coat. Click on or copy and past the link below in your search bar, it explains the procedure. The 2k primers also have additional additives available for application on plastic. Different paint companies may call it by different names but they are basically all flexi agents.
