You can get NEW WB washer bottles from Rare Spares, as they are off the original GMH tooling. The part number 92003705 is moulded into it and comes complete with all fittings for the hoses. Most secondhand ones are either very dirty with rust & grease or cracked.

Rusty stains from bad cooling system maintenance. Mine is the same, cant seem to remove the stains from the inside very well. I was going to buy a new one from Rares, but the price put me off. I can live with the stains.

Hmm, CLR you say. Might give that a go. Brand new at Rares = $177.32 ea. But the cap for the washer fluid section is $7.60 and i thought that was a good deal.

Looking at EBay you can pay around $100 for a secondhand one that has not been cleaned. Asking $50 seems reasonable when compared to some.
The cooling system sends the water through various metal components that react and cause a dirty system. Not everyone flushes and cleans their systems regularly so that is why you end up with the rust stained inside of the coolant recovery side. The windscreen washer side usually contains clean water and often some cleaning additive.
The outside of the bottle can have oil, grease and even road grime attached. There is also the possibility that under bonnet temperatures could cause the old bottle to become brittle over the many years.
