Interior sunvisors - care and maintenance

Whilst getting organised to move house, I came across a few sets of Q-Z sunvisors that have been stored in drawers of an old wardrobe for 20+ years, dry and dust free, but in a slightly hot, non a/c house. Two pairs now seem to be sticky or tacky. Nothing has leaked on them, so Im guessing that they were treated with Armorall or similar earlier in their life and this is now sweating out. They seem to be in good condition, (not decomposed) as Ive seen with some HQ ones, so I think they are still in usable condition.

    My questions are:
What is a good solvent or cleaner to use on sunvisors, both to clean the stickiness off and clean the greasy hand prints off them
Suggestions on the best way to store them
The pivots, where they screw to the roof, some are silver and some are black, what would be the reason for this (black roof lining perhaps) or just as per my memory that some HZs had black pivots.

    Thank you for any help

    cheers
    Max

    Agreed
I tried a solvent as such and stuffed mine
Cleaned another set and used vinyl paint to match the interior.
