    Wb Sports steering wheel

Hope it's ok to ask wb questions. Please let me know if it isn't. My 81 wb kingswood 63v has a black column. Was wondering if that is factory? Also was wondering what steering centre cap would of been fitted at the factory or dealer? The hz sandman style or the earlier plain one?

To my knowledge a WB 63C would have had a light brown or buckskin colour column. Not black.
If it was optioned with the sports wheel the cap is the same as the HZ cap. The wheel would jace been the buckskin colour. The badge in the wheel is a little different though. The round lion badge on WB the bottom half of the lion is missing.

Sorry tried to post a photo but i keep getting an error.

I don’t think there was an option for black interior in WB. As Stickthis said, it would have matched the interior colour, but it would have been possible in any colour if you got it dealer fitted.

My panno is a 1983 build WB 63c code, factory sports pack. I believe its all still original interior which has the black column, wheel and horn centre.

Thanks for your help. I think I'll change my column back to brown/buckskin colour with a buckskin sports steering wheel.

I've got a well used wheel and a nos horn cap. On the lookout for a better wheel. I was thinking about painting a rare spares one, but wasn't sure if the colour would last.

Axistr, anything’s possible I guess, all the ones I have seen matched the dash pad. I’ve owned two and two of my brothers have had them, all standard sports dash and the columns matched the dash pad.

Sports dash and Steering Wheel were 100% an option on WB.

NK3 Option = Sports Steering Wheel
U17 Option = Dash Instrument Custer Assembly
