The coloured sports steering wheels were SL/E.

Yes I know, don't have my parts books with me so can't check any notations in it and can't remember the details. The coloured wheels were predominately UC SL/E but as they also fit WB I guess they were offered as a spare part if someone really wanted a coloured sports wheel.

Sorry that probably came across rudely Absinth, wasn’t intended.
Yes they were probably listed in all the parts books that they fitted on.

I have had a few WB utes 253/4 speed G.T.S. dash, bucket seats & console, over the years, but not had one with sports steering wheel.
I always presumed they (steering wheel) were available, but might have been a bit expensive for the country folk. I still have a ute sitting around, its got brown interior, but will have to check the code

    cheers

Back then when you ordered a new car its no different to buying a new car now just tick the option boxes
anything was possible if you had the cash

never seen a 5 litre WB ute myself but have heard of them
the WB had quite a few different colour trims to choose from dont think black was standard

Black was not a trim option in WB.

Just because you haven't seen a 5 litre WB ute doesn't mean there weren't any.... as I said my old boss ordered one brand new, I drove it a few times and the blue 5 Litre decal on the aircleaner was a dead give away when you popped the bonnet.
