Restoration of forum images!!!!

Hi all

I have come across a fix for the missing photobucket image shambles.

This has worked for me and can now see all the images to the earliest post i can find ...way back in 03/2010

*NOTE- this is a fix for each individual. Still not sure how to fix it across the board for each user. For now, its better than nothing*

This is an Extention to fix the hotlinking....Firefox browser fix, but also has a Chrome fix as well. As for other browsers i'm not sure.

Click the link ..... hit the add to Firefox button & reload a forum page.

Let me know if it works for you.

Nowadays, i use Imgur to host pics, but will look into hosting our own pics.

I wouldn't think this a forever fix. It looks to be a workaround until photobucket changes the url of the images again.
If you really want to fix it. You need to save each photo and host on your own server.

None of my Photobucket images will show as I removed all images from Photobucket the day they tried to extort hundreds of dollars from me.
On this forum I see I can edit old posts so I may find the images and upload again.

I also noted that "click URL/hyperlinks" have stopped using the tags. Was this done on purpose?

Yeah thatll be a problem if youve physically removed them.

World wide people are really pissed at photobucket.....sh1t effort on their behalf

Yeah i noticed the URL link has gone as well. I'll add it to the to do list
