    Protecting patina

    Hi all
I have an HZ ute with original undies. Surface rust has started to really flare up since I bought it. Not planning on a respray so just looking to seal it up and keep it looking fairly original.
Can anyone recommend a method or product for this? I've just heard wax is good but maybe someone can recommend a particular one.

    thanks

I cannot believe how good it came up and is retaining the finish. I live one street from the beach and the ute is constantly subjected to the sea spray that is carried on the wind.... I wash it every couple of weeks and it just keeps looking good.

18815207_1433830726684672_8807865283276070555_o.jpgIt's a bit thin in a few places but I'll wait until they show primer after a cut and I'll blend a bit of paint over those areas. It's just my shop ute so I don't want to paint it and have another car that has to live in a garage under a cover, I've already got too many of them.
This is what it looked like before I started....
