This build is really coming together well, improvements to the original design are brilliant. Well Done.

engine looks pretty original to
The new headlining turned up last week, took me three days to get it in. Slow and steady and kept giving it a light stretch in different places every day till I removed the majority of the ripples and creases. To get the last few ripples out I had to give it a bit of heat from my heat gun. No expert at headlining fitment but happy with the results.

Thanks for the positive comments guys.
As previously stated by wbute the new aftermarket lower tailgates have a bit of a bow in the inner skin. Sure enough when I fitted the rubber and closed the tailgate I still had a small gap between the body and sealing rubber. I managed to pick up a double lipped rubber strip, masked up the area so I didn't get the bloody glue everywhere and used contact cement it to position. Might be a bit hard to see the strip in the photo but seals perfect and almost look like it was factory fitted.
Windscreen next and going in today.

More pics of the double rubber please.
Side on picture would be great.
And what exactly is the double rubber shape look like.and where did you purchase?
I have the same issue with our tailgate.
