    Is this Fraudulent ?

This advert is just deadset wrong in my opinion. Who goes to the trouble to make a 2016 Sandman plate and install it on a standard SV6 Ute with all the 2015 decals. I can wear the decals but when you fit a fake identification plate, well that just doesn't seem right.

Does that count as an "identification plate"?

Must say ad does just say genuine stickers, doesn't say ute is genuine sandman. I don't know the status of the sticker you've pointed out Dave. To me not much different from a WB with HZ sandman stickers really

This is the problem when Holden goes about things half arsed.
While I don't like it, it's no worse then the fact Holden could make a real ID for the 2015 Sandman and those before it.

Someone will end up disappointed after this purchase I feel.

It is a plate not a sticker and Holden describe it as a 'Unique Sandman Build Plate'. Not so 'unique' when people make their own. Will make it interesting in 20yrs when VF Sandman Utes are scarce and Utes like this appear.

I doubt too many will care in 20 years time. Most involved in the current Sandman/van craze will be in their 80's.

Did the new Sandmans come in a V6 and the blue colour. (Thought it was black, white or silver?)

    Yeah it's not cool.
But had the "Unique Sandman Build Plate" tied in to the compliance/vin build number etc. There would be none of this...

You are correct, black, white and silver only. But I knew a bloke who knew a bloke who resprayed a car a different colour than it was. Lol
