Should be no reason at all,
Do it and take some pics,it’s all about getting out there.
And you are correct some of the photos are stunning, and if his trips get more people out and about then that is great.

No reason at all, that's kinda the point I'm trying to make. I'm passionate about showing people you don't need much to see Australia.

A 2wd car, some maps and a can do attitude will get you to 85% of places and local tour operators will get you the rest of the way.

    Thanks again Kiwi
Yep, cheers Camper, and Kiwi, I know I can take the Kingy anywhere, I just thought I'd say it!

I once replaced the front stabiliser bushes with hard packed cardboard from a VB case, on (slightly) off road trip in Northern NSW, drove to Brisbane for bushings, but being Sunday got none, and so just drove back to Canberra VB case equipped, no issues. Drove quite nicely actually! I've been off site for a while, just enjoying the pics of your trip.

Cheers Valencia, I wonder if if that HT kept going afterward, quite possible, interior like a loungeroom on the Brougham! Rest assured, if I do end up in Northern Australia on tour in the Kingy, (not immediately likely though) but I reckon the only thing I would have to seriously worry about is tyres - the rest just works.

Camper, it has been a long time since we've herd from you. To use a quote from a cricketers x-missus "Where the bloody hell are ya." Look forward to seeing some of your destinations soon. Have you lost your license for speeding? Drink Driving. It would be good to hear from you.

After these interesting trips Camper put up here for us to follow, he had clocked up a few k's, so off he went to his Holden dealer for "fixed price servicing" .....

Might be delivering pizzas in his spare time to pay his bill
