Hey folks!!

This has been in the works for a while now. A collaborative effort between a great bunch of guys & gals.

A humble a super appreciative thank you goes out to Blocker, Bill, Jeza, Dave, Hainzy, Justin, Chris & Katy. Everyone has a unique skill set that makes this a reality.

Obviously theres a bunch of car clubs out there, but nothing specific for us Sandman folks.....so here we are with our very own club.

Just a heads up, we will be open to memberships in the very very near future, and when that happens, i'll let everyone know.

Its a social, charity and family based club. Cruises etc etc

We try to have meetings every two months, but we are really spread out, and everyone has lives and sometimes the stars dont align....but its all good.

So if anyone here is interested in joining, by all means let us know.

Bear in mind, so far its based in Victoria....and we have VicRoads approval for us to be part of the Victorian Club Permit Scheme. If there is enough interest, the club is designed to roll over into other states, the only thing that changes, is each state road laws. Other than that, its the same across all states.

We would be interested in hearing your thoughts, particularly on things youd like to see us do.

I think the Sandman Club is an excellent idea and after checking out the website I reckon you guys are on a winner. Is there a general membership for those folks who want to be included in the club however cannot club register their cars due to not being located in Victoria. I so want one of those of those stickers on the back of my van.

You would still fall under the "owners" membership tier...as you own a Sandman.
Its a shame the road regulations differ from state to state....makes things complicated.
The club rego plate scheme is an additional service thats available through the club. As most, if not all, sandmans are of the vintage where theyre allowed to be on club reg. Obviously the guys with VF Sandmans will have to wait 20 years for that privilege

Once the merch & decals have been ordered and secured, membership will be open to the public...and it will be announced when that happens.

Awesome job and well done to all that have brought it together.
Regardless of the club rego issue (which I'm sure we can sort out easily), it's a great way of having a nation wide solid club. I'm in!
