    VF Series 2 Camper

    Hi all,

new to the forum and forums in general, have read the rules/guidelines but if I'm doing it wrong please let me know.

Have just bought a new SV6 Black Edition Series 2 VF Ute in Jungle Green (last one in the country) and had Amcat/Zinardi put the Panel Van canopy on for me.

Plan on making it my ultimate solo road trip vehicle.

Pics from Sue at Zinardi, hope to take delivery of it 11/3/17

    Welcome mate! That looks great.

I wish Holden had of made the effort to do something like this when they re released the sandman. Would have sold a lot more units in that format, than a wagon I reckon.

    Hi Hainzy,

yeah, I reckon you're right, this style is closer to the actual sandman than the wagon.

very unique colour that 1 mate. welcome to the site. I have a series 2 SSV Redline and absolutely love it!

Canopy looks awesome and I like those wheels. Did you pay extra for them or did they throw them in?

    G'day Cameron,

Wow! mate that is exciting for you. I remember hassling Sue for pictures when mine was been done.
You should add it to the V-Series database when you take delivery.
I hope you get many enjoying trips in your new ride.

Look forward to seeing the photos of the finish build and all the exciting adventures you care to tell us about.
    Pictures make great stories!

Great looking ute, love that colour. Wheels came standard on VF Sandmans. Happy cruising mate.

    Hi Vombil,

the wheels came with the Black Edition spec.

I plan on wrapping a clear matte vinyl over the entire car, that should tone down the colour a little bit.

    New Pics

    Hi All,

The Car is ready at the dealership, I'm stuck out at work til the 11/3/17, cant wait to get back home and get in it.

I had them upgrade the steering wheel to the clubby version, so I get the flappy paddle gear shift on the wheel. Once I save a bit more cash I will have the stage 1 upgrade done to it, OTR intake, 3" exhaust and retune should make the gear changes a bit quicker.

With the HUD and all the controls on the wheel I should barely have to look down.

How do I add it to the database?

will definitely share some photos once I get out and about, might be a minute as I want to get some Paint/Rust protection done before I hit the Highway and will then be away again for work.
