Did HJ Sandman's have the GTS flutes blacked out ??

I thought they were blacked out, despite what the brochure shows. See my avatar, factory flutes unaltered.

My hj has blacked out flutes,still factory paint.

Can you still buy these to weld in? Would love to chuck some in my hx, it's not a Sandman so the purists shouldn't be to upset, and loved them in my old HJ

My 76 HJ Sandy had them from factory

NB: Photo from 87 with stripes removed (considered daggy by then) Tough street machine look was the go....lol
