Gts mirror position

Hi guys. I have a passenger door with no mirror and a drivers door that has been welded over. Can some one help me with the location of the GTS Mirrors.

I think he was talking about their position on the actual door.

The rubber seal on mine sits about 2mm below the last crease line at the top of the door. Front of it is pretty close to inline with the very corner of the curve on the window pillars. Passenger side looks to be maybe 5mm further back than the drivers. Both doors appear to be original and unrepaired

You wouldnt think so

I think they do, so the driver can see out of it. I fitted both mirrors on the EH in exactly the same position and i cannot see out of the passenger one.
Probably best to get someone to hold it while sitting in the drivers seat an check before drilling.

That was my initial thought.
Then again, it could just as easily be the guy drilling the holes being quick and lazy. My GTS has original doors and mirrors on it too. I'll have to remember to check it next time I'm close.

There are pictures on this forum of a HZ sandman ute blue color at the Echuca Holden Museam and the passenger side mirror looks to be located closer to the door handle than the drivers side?
