    HX HZ Bumpers - Sedan, Wagon, Van

    Hello folks,

    Are the front and rear bumpers between Sedans, Wagons and Vans interchangeable? The bumpers on my van are in need of some loving and I am struggling with the thought of spending $1000+ (including freight) for exchange bars.
    I have found some really good Sedan bars that I was hoping to use.
    Cheers,

    Is your rear bumper currently a one piece full length or 2 small bumperettes? If it's full lengthn then it's probably a wagon one anyway.

    Thanks stickthis, I guess I had better find some Bumperettes.
    Are the brackets the same for Bumperettes and full length bar?

    Has the full length bar been shortened?
    There is usually a decent size gap if they haven't been shortened.
    BO6 = Rarer then a Sandman

    Brackets for bumperettes are different to sedan and wagon rear bars. Each bumperette has 2 small brackets one bolts to side of body and one to the back and they are bolted from inside of the body where the wiring for the tail lights is

    cheers

    Hello agro71,
    I am unable access the van to confirm, I do think however that the bar sit family snug.

    Hello maxsandman,
    Thanks for the heads up, I guess I will have to track down both Bumperettes and brackets.
