First off, sorry if this has been covered but I have searched for hours
i have a hj caprice top grill that i need to repaint, my question is, what is the colour that where originally used or what colour does everyone paint this grill? feel free to post any pics that would be unreal!

Most (if not all) Holden grilles at the time were moulded in their colour, so I don't now if you'll get a paint code. from memory Caprice had a grey coloured grille? Maybe best to take it to a paint shop to match it

I don't ever remember HJ Caprice grilles being painted on standard cars. I had a lot of them (used to build the double grille fronts for those that wanted them) and they were always unpainted silver/grey. HX or HZ may be different, I never did any of them, but HJ was unpainted.
Vans.... This is the 2nd time round the block, 40 years later! talk about turning back the clock!
