    HZ Trim

    Hi All
My trim code is 1938-18V, which is super mint slate. My seats and door cards are slate, but the hood lining is buckskin. Is this correct?
    Cheers
    Mick

Hi Mick, I'm not a hz expert, but it probably is right, headlining were generally not same as trim, more generic in nature.

    It will be black.

HZ parts manuals suggest a different part number for all trim colours. So that suggests it would be the colour of the trim.

As far as I remember sandmans had a "neutral" option for hood lining, but I think it was chamois. My HZ XU3 in Atlantis blue had slate black trim and chamois hood lining & visors when it was new

    cheers

Neutral headlining for early HJ was Dove Grey, neutral headlining for late HJ, HX and early HZ was Chamois..... Neutral headlining for late HZ was Buckskin.

Neutral headlining was only available with black trim codes.

A Supermint 18V HZ with neutral headlining will have Buckskin headlining and sunvisors.

Looks like that's the answer. My upulstorer who is doing the seats used to work for Holden. He said hood lining should be black, but I was sure it would be buckskin. He said some dodgy things went on, like special order cars being thrown in the middle of gov contracts and said things often got mixed up.

Thank you all for your replies.
